Lifted+ is a colour-led home brand created by Michelle and Rob — one British, one Kiwi, both firmly of the belief that white, black and neutrals are at their best when they are making colour look even better.
We love interiors with personality. We love mid-century modern shapes, confident palettes, sculptural details and rooms that feel like someone interesting lives there.
We also love orange. A lot.
There is Ducati-level orange in our hearts, even if Michelle is still riding her Honda CBR. For us, colour has always carried movement, energy and attitude. It changes how a space feels. It changes how you feel inside it.
That belief is what sits behind Lifted+.
We are not here for bland rooms, beige compromise or homes that feel like they are waiting politely for permission to become themselves.
We are here for colour that lifts.
DwellForms™ came from a very real rental-life frustration.
Where DwellForms™ Began
Since arriving in New Zealand in 2014, Michelle has mainly lived in rental homes. Like so many renters, she wanted those spaces to feel personal, warm and lived in — not temporary, bare or emotionally beige.
So she hung pictures. She made the place feel more like home. Then, at the end of one tenancy, she lost part of her bond because the landlord did not think the wall repair after removing picture hooks was good enough.
That moment stayed with her.
Not because she wanted to damage anything. Quite the opposite. She wanted to care for the home she lived in, while also being able to make it feel like hers.
That is the tension so many renters live with:
You are expected to live gently.
You are expected to make no marks.
But somehow, you are also supposed to feel settled, proud and at home.
DwellForms™ was created from that contradiction.
